No confetti (paper, plastic or metallic) or sparkle dust is to be scattered on tables. Votives, tea lights and candles are to be safely contained in protective, non-flammable holders and cannot have an open flame. All decorations must be removed immediately after the event. The floor surfaces in Halls 1–4 are polished concrete. Our Official Show Services Partner Freeman can arrange for booth and aisle carpeting for exhibit halls. Meeting Rooms A, B, C, & D are carpeted and all pre-function areas are ceramic tile.
Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) is an internationally recognized green building certification system, providing third-party verification that a building was designed and built to provide energy savings, water efficiency, CO2 emissions reduction, improved indoor environmental quality, and stewardship of resources.
The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada (SOCAN) requires a license for each day of an event where music will be played. The EY Centre is responsible for collecting and remitting the fees.
Due to limited storage space, we are not able to receive event materials in advance. Our Official Show Services Partner, Freeman, is happy to assist with material handling, storage and exhibit set-up, and can assist with customs clearance. The EY Centre can also make arrangements to handle conference materials if advance notice is provided to us.
The EY Centre is proud to provide both catering and retail food options. Complete catering services are available as well as retail outlets for meetings and tradeshows. See the full list at Food and Beverage.
